Palmetto Anthro Weekend 2027
After the success and love that the southeastern furry community has shown us with Palmetto Fur The Season, we are excited to bring a full 3 days of furry fun to the Palmetto State, A first for South Carolina!
We are very excited to announce we will be hosting Palmetto Anthro Weekend (PAW) 2027 at the Crowne Plaza Greenville, who are very excited to be hosting us!
Join us February 4th-7th in Greenville, South Carolina at the Crowne Plaza Greenville for a full weekend of furry fun! The Crowne Plaza offers over 8,200 square feet of event space alone, with a very spacious lobby, convenient marketplace, 2 on-site restaurants, and a bar centered in the lobby which will be serving specialized furry drinks during the convention. Palmetto Anthro Weekend is honored to have Wyviryn from Lexington, South Carolina as our 2027 Guest of Honor!
"Hello! My name is Wyviryn!
I am a South Carolina local, a vuldrake and wearer of many hats. First and foremost, I am a composer and a percussionist. I acquired a BA in music composition from the University of South Carolina Columbia campus in 2021, as well as a certificate in percussion performance. Nowadays, I'm on the hunt for opportunities to be a video game composer!
I am also a furry artist, and have been drawing for most of my life. I got my first digital tablet in 2016, and have since then honed my skills and have started looking for opportunities to create and sell my work. I have also endeavored to begin my own webcomic, and am capable of creating animations! My work is primarily digital, but I do traditional work during conventions as well!
On top of those, I am also a variety streamer! I stream to Twitch alongside a friend of mine, and solo as well! There, I play a variety of games and even engage in streaming music and art from time to time, as well as bring on guests!
As a creative person, I am always striving to bring more joy and fascination into the world through my work, and to enrich the projects with which I'm involved. I am endlessly happy to put my creations out into the world for everyone to enjoy, and always ready and willing to make new friends and connections!"

Palmetto Anthro Weekend 2027 Q&A
Are minors allowed at this event?
Yes! For Palmetto Anthro Weekend, all ages are allowed. However, they must have a registered parent or guardian present at all times. Any Individual aged 16 or 17 attending events must have a parent or guardian present at all times, OR to come alone, you must provide a printed, signed consent form found Here . All minors will receive a specialty minor badge and are not allowed in any event age-rated 18+ and above.
What events will be at Palmetto Anthro Weekend?
There will be plenty for attendees to do at all times! We have a large amount of space and plenty of programming to fill up time, so we never have a dull moment! This will include community run events like a fursuit dance competition, fursuit runway, and panels! We will be having a full dealers den and artist alley as well! Our full schedule will be posted closer to the event. The Crowne Plaza offers plenty for attendees to do on-site, including 2 restaurants, a marketplace and a heated indoor saltwater pool, plus plenty of lounging area. There is also a ton to do around Greenville itself, and the Crowne Plaza offers a complimentary shuttle that can take you a 5 mile radius from the hotel.
What's the organization's experience running events?
The Palmetto Anthro Collective ran South Carolina's First ever Mini Conventions under the "Palmetto Fur The Season" name, and our staff have paws helping in other conventions across the country. The Palmetto Anthro Collective staff is a mix of well-seasoned and talented convention staff. We also have advisors from other conventions guiding our board to help us make the best convention we can, and the one the Palmetto State deserves.

Why does Palmetto Anthro Weekend exist?
Palmetto Anthro Weekend exists to give southeastern furries and South Carolina furries locally, a safe space to connect and socialize at a convention made with us in mind, finally!
